Portal 11.18.2025 Release Notes

Our release notes offer brief descriptions of product enhancements and bug fixes. We include links to the current articles for any affected features. Those articles will be updated shortly after the Portal release to include new functionality.

Product Enhancements

Add the Ability to Favorite / Pin Form Templates in the Blank Forms Section of the Web App (SB-3805)

Added the ability for Users to Favorite a Blank Form that will keep it pinned to the top of the Blanks Forms section of the Web App. Unfavoriting the Form Template will return it to the place in the list based on the current Sort selection. When there are multiple Favorited Blank Forms enabled for a User, they are listed in alphabetical order.

Add the Ability to Edit Selected Datasource Region Values when Users Are Allowed to Enter New Values into the Region in the Web App (SB-3819)

Added a new Edit icon to the drop-down list for Datasource Region when a value has been selected and the Region allows new values to be entered according to the Form Design when filling out Forms in the Web App. Clicking the Edit icon will auto-load the selected value into the Add a New Value field which the User can then manually edit.

Update the Company Activity Log with Clearer Messaging for Various Events Occurring in the Portal (SB-4148)

Updated the Company Activity Log found in the Reports > Other Reports section of the Portal with the following changes: Updated the Types Filter to no longer show anything related to the Legacy Windows 7 App, Updated Labels in the Types Filter for accuracy, Updated User E-Mail Notification Events to include the E-Mail Template Name and the Username in the Description, and Updated the Descriptions for Events that occur when interacting with Form Templates, Form Data Files, and Work Orders.

Update Beta App Versions to Display Correctly in All Sections Using the New App Version Management System of the Portal (SB-4157)

Updated the Beta App Versions used in the App Version Management system to correctly displayed the "BETA" tag in the Admin > Devices section of the Portal.

Bug Fixes

Investigate and Fix Timeouts when Loading the Workflow History in the Workflow Section of the Portal (SB-4156)

Updated the query to reduce timeouts and improve performance when loading the Workflow History in the Workflow section of the Portal.

Investigate and Fix the Login Process Sometimes Loading the Wrong SSO Identity Provider when Simultaneous SSO Login Attempts Are Made in the Portal (SB-4161)

Fixed an issue with the Login process sometimes redirecting Users to the wrong SSO Identity Provider when simultaneous Login attempts are made by Users from different Companies in the Portal. Additionally, the third-party SAML library used by the Portal for SSO Logins has been upgraded to the latest version.

Investigate and Fix Folder Specific Users Not Populating Correctly in the Assign Workflow Drop-Down List in Custom Workflow Definitions (SB-4165)

Fixed the Assign Workflow drop-down list to properly list only Users associated with the Folder for the Form when viewing Forms in Workflow if the ProjectUsers option is used in Review Steps in Custom Workflow Definitions.
