Portal 01.21.2025 Release Notes

Our release notes offer brief descriptions of product enhancements and bug fixes. We include links to the current articles for any affected features. Those articles will be updated shortly after the Portal release to include new functionality.

Product Enhancements

Make Multi-Factor Authentication Settings Available to Customers in the Company Profile Section of the Portal (SB-3882)

Updated the “Enable Multi-Factor Authentication“ Setting and all of its Sub-Settings to be visible and editable for the Mobile Forms Administrator Role and Custom Roles with the Company Profile Permission in the Systems Settings tab of the Company Profile section of the Portal.

Add New System Setting to Set the Inactive Session Timeout in the Portal (SB-3890)

Added a new System Setting that allows each Company to have their own custom Inactive Portal Session Timeout in the Portal. The default Timeout is set to 60 minutes and the minimum custom Timeouts can be set to is 10 minutes. Contact your Account Manager or F2B Technical Support to get a custom Inactive Portal Session Timeout setup for your Company.

Add the Ability for Customers to Request to Enroll in the Beta Program in the Portal (SB-3892)

Added a button that opens an e-mail to send to their Account Manager requesting to Enroll in the Beta Program on the Mobile Forms Information tab in the Admin > Company Profile section of the Portal.

Add the Ability for Customers to Submit New Ideas and Feedback in the Portal (SB-3899)

Added a new Submit Idea option to the My Profile drop-down (in the upper right hand corner) of the Portal that will allow Customers to submit feature requests or provide product feedback directly to Field2Base without requiring a ticket to be opened.


Bug Fixes

Investigate and Fix the Visible By Filter to Correctly Display Results for User Group Associations in the Workflow Admin Section of the Portal (SB-3879)

Fixed the Visibly By Filter in the Workflow > Admin section of the Portal to also show Forms assigned to the User’s Groups and not just assigned to the User.

Investigate and Fix the Devices Section Not Loading when Devices Fail to Be Removed Correctly (SB-3886)

Fixed an issue with the Admin > Devices section of the Portal not loading correctly if any Remove Device request fails (i.e. database timeout) and the User attempts to load more than 10 items to display.
