Data Upload Utility (DUU) 7.4 Release Notes

Overview

Our release notes offer brief descriptions of the bug fixes included in the 7.4 General Availability release of our Data Upload Utility. The version number shown is now shown in the Data Upload Utility's Configuration tab or by going to Settings > Apps > select the F2B Data Upload. The version number is 7.4.0.

Product Enhancements

Create New Windows-Based Application Installers using the WiX Toolset (SB-3426)

Created new Application Installers using the WiX Toolset for Forms Designer, the DIM, the DUU, and the EDM. One major change to the installation wizard is that there is now an Options button on the initial screen that allows you to configure the Installation Folder Location.

Update the DUU to Use Browser Authentication to Support Single Sign-On (SSO) Activation (SB-3470)

Updated the DUU to now use the browser to facilitate Integration Suite App activation using either the Standard Login or the Single Sign-On (SSO) instead of activating within the DUU Admin Utility.

Update the User Authentication Process to Prompt within the App in the DUU (SB-3949)

Updated the User Authentication process for activation in the Data Upload Utility to now stay within an embedded window when using a Company ID, Username, and Password, and to open the User's default Internet browser when using Single Sign-On (SSO). When SSO Authentication completes, the User can click the Continue button on the Portal page to be prompted to return to Data Upload Utility. The updated User Authentication process will take effect in the Portal 03.25.2025 Release.

Update the Form Data Files Upload Process to Use a New REST API Endpoint in the Data Upload Utility (SB-3993)

Updated the Form Data Files uploading process to use a new REST API Endpoint instead of the legacy SOAP API in the Data Upload Utility.
