Portal 04.25.2023 Release Notes

Overview

This document details the release of the Portal upgrade including product enhancements and bug fixes. Details are covered in the sections below.

Product Enhancements

  • Overhaul the Filters UI for the Admin, Sent Forms, Web App, and Workflow Sections in the Portal [SB-2853]
    Completely replaced all of the Filters used in all sections of the Portal with a new more streamlined UI.

  • Update the Set Work Order Sort Config Drop-Down List Options and the Default Selection in the Configurations Section of the Portal [SB-3132]
    Updated the Set Work Order Sort Configuration's default to be "Timestamp (Newest)" so that it matches the behavior in the Apps and removed the Address options from the Set Work Order Sort Configuration's drop-down list options in the Configurations tab of the Company Profile section in the Portal.

  • Add the Code to Phone Number Fields in the Portal and the REST API [SB-3153]
    Added the Phone Code to the Phone Number fields on the Create / Edit User and My Profile pages and added the Phone Code to the Users endpoint in the REST API.

  • Add Creation Date Field and Filter for Work Orders in the Work Orders Section of the Portal [SB-3162]
    Added a Creation Date column to the table data and a Filter in the Work Orders section of the Portal.

  • Do Not Display Links in the Table for Downloads if No Link Is Set in the Downloads Sections of the Portal [SB-3171]
    Updated the Downloads section of the Portal to display a Link Not Available pop-up window if there is no URL set for any of the links displayed in the Downloads section of the Portal.

  • Update Descriptions and Setting Types of Configs in the Company Profile Section of the Portal [SB-3176]
    Updated the Descriptions for the Set Work Order Sort Order and Enable Print Button settings and updated the Type to use "App" instead of "Client" on the Configs tab in the Company Profile section of the Portal.

Bug Fixes

  • Allow Any Standard HTML Tags to Be Used when Creating or Editing the HTML in Custom Templates in the Portal [SB-3135]
    Added support to allow standard HTML tags (head, body, meta, etc.) that were previously being removed by the HTML Sanitizer to be used in Custom E-Mail Templates, Kiosk Mode Profiles, and Custom App Home Screens in the Portal.

  • Investigate and Fix Datasource Mapping Regions Not Displaying Drop-Down Lists after Changing Pages in the Web App and Workflow [SB-3137]
    Fixed issues with Datasource Mapping Regions not displaying their drop-down list when there is more than one value after the User has navigated to a different Page and returned to the original Page in Web App and the Workflow Form Viewer.

  • Investigate and Fix Not Being Able to Delete Personnel Details when Editing Users in the Portal [SB-3140]
    Fixed an issue with not being able to delete values in Personnel Details fields when editing a User in the Users section of the Portal.

  • Investigate and Fix the WorkflowDocumentURL Keyword in Custom E-Mail Templates Not Including the Company Identifier when SSO is Enabled [SB-3146]
    Fixed issues with the WorkflowDocumentURL keyword not properly including the Company Identifier in Custom Workflow E-Mail Templates when Single Sign-On (SSO) is enabled in the Portal.

  • Investigate and Fix Issues with Infinite Loop Occurring if a Mirror Region References Itself in the Form Template during Workflow Processing [SB-3195]
    Fixed the potential infinite recursive loop in the Forms Core library used in Workflow processing on the servers when the Form Template is designed with a Mirror Region that references itself. Hotfix deployed on 5/11/2023.
