Portal 01.31.2023 Release Notes
Overview
This document details the release of the Portal upgrade including product enhancements and bug fixes. Details are covered in the sections below.
Product Enhancements
- Add New Portal and Workflow URL Keywords and Links to Custom E-Mail Templates and System Settings to Support Single Sign-On (SSO) [SB-3015]
Added new keywords for the Portal Home Page URL, Portal Workflow Admin URL, and Portal Workflow Queue URL to E-Mail Templates and changed the login button in Systemwide E-Mail Templates to use these keywords instead of the original Portal Login URL keyword. Additionally, the Single Sign-On (SSO) section related to the Company Identifier on the System Settings tab in the Company Profile section of the Portal was updated to display clickable SSO links for the Portal Login URL and Portal Home Page URL.
- Update Group Editing on the Create and Edit Basic Workflow Definition Pages in the Portal [SB-3023]
Updated the Create and Edit Basic Workflow Definition pages in the Portal with a new simplified UI for editing Groups.
- Remove the "Set Main Menu Work Order Sort Order" Configuration from the Configs Section of the Portal [SB-3038]
Removed the Set Main Menu Work Order Sort Order Config from Configurations tab in the Company Profile section of the Portal.
- Change the Send Draft Button Label in the Web App [SB-3040]
Changed the label on the Send Draft button to "Send Form" in the Form Viewer of the Web App.
- Update the My History Section to Include Forms Users Have Taken Actions on Regardless of Any Form Edits in Workflow [SB-3041]
Updated My History in the Workflow section of the Portal to include Forms that the User has taken an Action on without making any changes to the Form while in Workflow.
- Update the Add a New Value Field in the Drop-Down List UI for Datasource Regions in the Web App and Workflow [SB-3042]
Added a new field for entering new values to Datasource Region drop-down lists when the Allow User to Enter a New Value setting is enabled for the Region when filling out Forms in the Web App and the Workflow Form Viewer in the Portal.
- Add a Roles Filter to the User Login Report in the Portal [SB-3043]
Added a Roles Filter to the possible Filters on the User Login Report in the Reports section of the Portal.
- Add a Prompt to Remove Associated Devices when Users Are Deleted in the Users Section of the Portal [SB-3044]
Added a new prompt to remove all associated Devices with User when Users are deleted in the Users section of the Portal.
- Rename the Disable Prompt Before Send Config Label in the Configs Sections of the Portal [SB-3048]
Renamed the Disable Prompt Before Send Config label to "Enable Prompt Before Send" in the Configurations tab in the Company Profile section of the Portal.
- Remove the Beta Portal References on the Portal Home Page for All Users [SB-3050]
Removed the introductory text referencing the Beta Portal on the Home Page in the Portal for all User Roles and users with no Roles.
- Change the Landing Page for Section Specific Systemwide User Roles in the Portal [SB-3056]
Updated the landing page for the built-in System Roles to go to the most likely used section when first logging into the Portal. Mobile Forms Administrator and Users with multiple System Roles assigned or Custom Roles assigned will have the Portal Home page as their landing page. The System Roles affected are: Analytics User, Form Data Uploader, Form Publisher, Online Docs User, Reporter, Web App User, Work Order Dispatcher, Workflow Reporter, Workflow Administrator, and Workflow User
- Change the Edit Recipients Save Behavior in the Form Templates Section of the Portal [SB-3066]
Updated the button labels and the save behavior on the Edit Recipients page in the Form Templates section of the Portal to return to the Form Templates section after saving changes to a Form Template's Mandatory Recipients.
