Overview
This guide is to help you properly upgrade the Enterprise Version of the Mobile Forms app on Android devices. An upgrade installs a new version of the app directly over an older one, without the need to re-install. Alternatively, you can also use our Upgrade Configuration to automatically push the newest version to some or all of the Android Devices activated under your company. If you are interested in the automated config, please open a ticket with our Support Team by emailing

Note: To successfully perform an upgrade, do NOT uninstall Mobile Forms from your Android Device. Simply follow the instructions below to install the new version over top of the old one.
You should have received an e-mail with a link to download the new version of the app. Contact the Mobile Forms Administrator for your company if you have not received that e-mail.
1. Tap on the download link provided in your email.
2. Tap the link in the browser window.
3. Tap the Install option.
4. Wait for the application file (.apk) to download. This process could take a few minutes and may not give any visual feedback so it’s recommend that you minimize the browser window and find the file in your recent downloads to confirm that the file has downloaded.
5. You should be able to see the Mobile Forms app icon in the same location on your device or in the application manager for your device.
First Sync After Upgrade
It is recommended that you leave Mobile Forms open on the device and wait a few minutes before interacting with the app. After the upgrade is complete, the Mobiles Forms app will perform its first sync, which is what we call a Base Update, to refresh all of your company’s data. This is the same type of update that occurs when you first activate the app and may result in the app not responding as it normally would.
