How To Gather Logs For Forms Designer

How To Gather Logs For Forms Designer

The Field2Base Support Team may ask you to provide the log files for Forms Designer in order to troubleshoot issues.

1.Open the Logs folder located at C:\ProgramData\Field2Base\Forms Designer\Logs

Note: ProgramData is a hidden folder. If you cannot see it in your File Explorer, select View > Show and check the Hidden Items option.

2. Copy the relevant log files (based on Date Modified).
Note: The relevant logs will vary per case. Usually, the latest few log files captured by Forms Designer are needed. However, if the problem happened during a specific window of time, you’ll want copy the logs closest to the date/time of the issue occurring. If there are any errors visible in the logs that coincide with when the problem happened, those are the logs the Support Team will want to review.

3. Email the log files to f2bupport@field2base.com.
Note: In order to troubleshoot your issue as quickly as possible, please notify the Support Team that the email contains the Forms Designer Log files in the email subject (for example, "Forms Designer Logs 2.10.24").
