Xml.PullParserException Error when Opening a Blank Form

Xml.PullParserException Error when Opening a Blank Form

This message generally means the version of the Form Template is higher than the version of the Mobile Forms app installed on the device. We recommend upgrading the Device(s) to use the latest version of the Mobile Forms app.

Note: The upgrade process may be different depending on what version of Mobile Forms you are running. If you're unsure on how to upgrade Mobile Forms, please contact F2B Support.

If your Mobile Forms app can't be upgraded at this time, you can down-grade the Form Template version as a workaround. Keep in mind that you may lose some functionality if the Form uses any of the newer features.

Down-grading a Form Template Version
1. Open the Form in Forms Designer.
2. Click File > Save As and select the version older than the client version (for example if your device has version 6.5 installed, then your eform version must be at or below 6.5).

3. Publish your down-graded Form to replace the current version.
Note: It may take several minutes for the Form to appear on your device depending on your available internet connectivity.
