Devices Bulk Import

Overview

Mobile Forms Administrators for companies who use an enterprise build (as opposed to installing the Mobile Forms app from the app store) have the ability to import Device information to quickly add new Devices by using the Devices Bulk Import feature. This feature is available on the Devices page (Admin > Devices).



Creating the Bulk Import File

1. Click the  Click here to download the CSV Template for Bulk Device Imports link to download the CSV template.


2. Open the F2B_Device_Import_Template.csv file from your downloads.

3. Enter the following information for each Device:
  1. Device Platform (required) - Use one of the following options: Android, Apple, Android Tablet, Android Phone, iPad, iPhone, Windows Tablet, Windows Laptop, Windows Desktop, Web Client
  2. Manufacturer (required) - Use one of the following options: Alcatel, Apple, Asus, Dell, Fujitsu, Google, HP, HTC, Kyocera, Lenovo, LG, Microsoft, Motion, Motorola, Nokia, Panasonic, Quanta, Samsung, Sonim, Sony, Verizon, Viewsonic, Xplore, ZTE, Other
  3. Model (required) - Enter the model type or number.
  4. Hardware Serial or MEID (optional) 
  5. Asset Tag or Description (optional) 
  6. Assigned User (optional) - Enter the username for a current User on your company.
  7. Billing Reference (optional)



Importing Devices



1. Click on the Choose File button and find your Bulk Import csv file.

2. Click on Submit.

3. You will receive a confirmation email including any errors encountered while creating any of your Devices.
